Priority 1 works with organizations wanting to be assured of the standards of the health and safety coordinator or their contractors. Safety and health programs are designed to prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and deaths, as well as the suffering and financial hardship they can cause. By protecting your workers, you reduce absences, ensuring that your workplace is more efficient and productive. We also work with contractors wishing to improve their health and safety management systems.

Priority 1 can provide information and assistance regarding the health and safety issues which need to be considered by companies when working with contractors. We can help ensure that only contractors with the correct insurance, proper risk controls and intention to work in a safe manner are being awarded contracts or being allowed to work with your clients. In order to assess contractors’ suitability, we will engage them in a qualification process. This involves answering questions and providing evidence of experience, accident investigation, risk assessment, training and structures to ensure safe working methods.
